The Kosovo Academy for Democracy and Human Rights started a training program that aims strengthening democratic culture in Kosovo schools by educating education professionals and community actors, and further developing their capacity to implement and promote EDC/HRE in their schools and communities.
The first part of the Academy’s program will take place from 28 to 30 September 2018, while the second part will be held on 13-14 October. That’s not all, as participating schools will also delegate two students to a tailor-made training for students to promote democratic culture in schools through the use of the media.
School teams will work with the parties in school in implementing school projects in the area of education for democratic citizenship and human rights education and will share the practices in implementing these projects.
The Academy is implemented by the Kosova Education Center (KEC), while funded by the European Center for Wergeland (Wergeland Center) and the University of Education of Zurich.
