PEACOCK-FACE 2 (PEACE THROUGH COMPETENCE, COOPERATION AND KNOWLEDGE)

The overall objective of the project: Supporting the peaceful coexistence of all ethnic groups in Kosovo through the presentation of the curricuate for personal development. Through the PEACOCK project will:

• Develop materials for teaching and learning for personal development dedicated to grades 5-9
• Adapt existing materials for use in the Kosovo context
• Online and face-to-face training courses are developed for students and teachers before and in service
• There are significant changes in the teacher training system
• Integrate concepts into pre-service teacher education programming/syllabuses
• Transfer materials for personal development/life skills in education, pre-service and service
• The teaching shifts from knowledge-based teaching to teaching based on student competence.

The Faculty of Education as a project partner develops concepts of life skills through:

• Integrating concepts into the program/syllabus
• Developing an online and face-to-face course for students
• Developing symposium and analysis on the development of skills among students in our education system
