DEVELOPMENT OF THE TRAINING PROGRAMMES FOR TEACHERS OF MATH SUBJECT (GRADE 5)

The development of the training program for teachers of mathematics subject, aimed to build the skills of teachers for a qualitative and creative presentation of the concepts of mathematics, diagrams, models, rules and relationships pertaining to the 5th class mathematics curriculum, as well as their successful implementation in solving problems in mathematics, other subjects and everyday life. The main activities involved:

• Developing a methodology for training primary teachers;
• Designing the module for training in the subject of mathematics for grade 5;
• Developing a coach manual for the implementation of the training;
• Developing guidance training for math teachers;
• Providing ToT training for 35 teachers from grades 1-5;
• Develop 3 tests of knowledge and evaluation matrices for the training module.
