Capacity building in the field of Vocational Education and Training (G-VET)

Overall objectives

• Foster cooperation with four Western Balkans countries and different stakeholders to increase the number of learning mobilities and improve the quality of education and learning experience provided;
• To enhance students’ skills to reduce the skill mismatch and decrease youth unemployment;
• Give better opportunities to students with less-favoured backgrounds;
• Enhance teachers’ professional development;
• Enhance organisations’ good practices in boosting the dialogue with the EU and WB member states;
• Enhance VET schools’ visibility and reputation.

Project results

• Students gained relevant competencies to enter the job market easily and find better working positions.
• Teachers are able to adapt the newly acquired knowledge to their daily work.
• Partners plan follow-ups based on the project results.
• Schools, public and social bodies and organization improve their reputation and public acknowledgement.
• Schools programs are modernised.
• Better communication between schools and public/private actors is developed.
