QUALITY BASIC EDUCATION FOR HUMAN DEVELOPMENT

This research aims to formulate a set of recommendations on the basis of the findings, which will encourage activities and actions in building a functional quality education system for all in Kosovo. The main objectives of the research were: • To assuage the quality of infrastructure, curriculum/textbooks, as well as teaching and learning in basic education in Kosovo • To provide a systematized and reliable information on the state and quality of basic education in Kosovo • To asses the impact of basic education quality on human development • To organize a constructive debate in function of ensuring quality education for all in Kosovo that will have an impact In the human development and social capital of Kosovo The results of the research were presented at the International Conference held in November 2006, dedicated to the Development Strategy of Pre-University Education 2007 -2017.
