PREVENTION OF VIOLENCE IN SCHOOLS

The aim of the project was to create a safe and friendly environment in schools through the distribution and implementation of the Protocol on Prevention and Referral of Violence in Institutions for Pre-University Education in Kosovo.

The main results of the project were:

1. Improving the mechanisms for child protection against violence in schools through the implementation of the protocol;

2. Raising awareness of key institutions, civil society, media and community in general for preventing violence against children in schools;

Beneficiaries

Direct beneficiaries of the project were: children from all pre-university education institutions in seven municipalities involved in the project (secondary schools, lower secondary schools, primary schools and pre-primary institutions) in Pristina, Fushë Kosovë, Peja, Feriza, Gjilan, and Gjakova.

Indirect beneficiaries of the project were: The Government of Kosovo with all relevant ministries (Ministry of Education, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Health), Council for Protection and Justice for Children (CEM of THE MOA).
