As part of the YEEP 2 project, young people trained and certified in the field of advocacy successfully concluded their campaign focused on the maintenance of the park near the “Bashkim Selishta – Petriti” Sports Hall in Gjilan.
During the campaign:
They met with representatives of local institutions to raise the issue of park maintenance and to present their requests. The discussions also addressed the need for improved infrastructure and the creation of inclusive public spaces, particularly for persons with special needs.
They organized awareness-raising activities with local citizens, promoting the importance of preserving and cleaning public spaces as a contribution to environmental protection.
They distributed flyers and posters throughout the city of Gjilan, conveying messages aimed at raising awareness about the importance of park maintenance and shared responsibility for public spaces. These efforts emphasized the direct impact such actions have on building a sustainable future.
