Empowering Youth, Combating Discrimination

February 26, 2025
Description
Today, we kicked off the third edition of the AADA Summer School, a transformative three-day program under the Action Against Discrimination for All (AADA) project.
This year, we are proud to welcome over 60 students from 15 schools across 11 municipalities in Kosovo, all coming together to challenge discrimination and promote inclusion.
We were honored to open this journey alongside Mr. Nicola Scaramuzzo, Team Leader for Rule of Law and Fundamental Rights Cooperation Program at the European Union in Kosovo, Ms. Abetare Gojani, Executive Director of IPKO Foundation, and Ms. Ardita Kabashi, AADA Project Manager at Kosovo Education Center along with our dedicated trainers, and the inspiring young participants themselves.
Built on the PONDER Methodology, AADA Summer School is an incubator for ideas and action. Through engaging sessions, students will explore innovative ways to tackle discrimination and counter hate speech, culminating in creating impactful digital content such as video animations, interactive presentations, games, short films, comic strips, articles, and more.
Today’s ceremony also reflected on the impact of the two past editions of Summer School Activity, where 120 youngsters were trained in PONDER Methodology to combat discrimination and hate speech.🦾
The AADA project is funded by the European Union in Kosovo and implemented by Kosova Education Center in partnership with IPKO Foundation (The Foundation House).
