During June, the CHAVORE project team continued regular mentoring of families in Prizren and Dubrava, through weekly visits and support for the use of the Well-being Boxes.
One month after the distribution of the boxes, focus groups were organized with parents, children and professionals to reflect on their experience. Parents emphasized that the activities have strengthened family relationships, created more quality time together.
Through play and interactive activities, children expressed emotions, developed communication skills and created precious moments with their parents. Professionals appreciated the ‘Well-being Box’ as a practical and innovative tool to strengthen cooperation with families.
The results so far show that simple interventions in the family environment, supported by professionals, have a tangible impact on the development and emotional well-being of children.
The CHAVORE project will continue to support families through mentoring and activities that promote early child development and empower parents.
