Professional development activities for teachers in Gjakova began

After signing the cooperation agreement with the Municipality of Gjakova a week ago, together we started preparing to offer the first three training programs for teachers in this municipality, within the framework of the KEC Training Center program.
On April 7-8, the first two days of the training program “Development of Reading Skills in Early Grades” were held at the Didactic Center in Gjakova. A group of primary school teachers are benefiting from this training program. The Director of the Municipal Directorate of Education, Mr. Hysen Brahimaj, made a short visit, expressing the Municipality’s support for teachers and education in the Municipality.
After two weeks, two more training programs will be organized for teachers in the Municipality of Gjakova.

These professional development activities are being implemented with funding from the Kosovo Education Center – KEC and with support from the Municipal Directorate of Education in the Municipality of Gjakova. The Municipality is also covering the food costs for the training participants.
