The three-day training “The Right to Public Representation – Advocacy” aimed to empower youth by providing them with important knowledge on advocacy and public representation. The training included a practical approach that enabled participants to develop action plans, identify barriers and possible solutions, and determine the resources and budget needed to carry out an advocacy campaign.
During this training, participants worked in groups, where they developed their vision for specific issues, identified stakeholders, and created concrete strategies for advocacy. They also addressed the needs of marginalized groups and identified priorities for greater inclusion in society. Through interactive sessions and presentations, young people gained in-depth knowledge and practical skills that will help them implement advocacy and public engagement projects in their communities.
