QUALITY OF EDUCATION IN THE REGION OF DUKAGJINI

Research Objective: Kosova Education Center in partnership with the organizations Avsi (Italy) and Cesal (Spain) during 2009 conducted a research in Dukagjini region, respectively in the municipalities: Peja, Gjakova, Klina, Istog, Rahovec, Junik, Decan, Malisheva, which included most of the schools in these municipalities. To accomplish this research as best as possible, two Didactic Centers, Gjakova and Peja, were included as logistical support.  The total number of teachers involved in this research was 1277 from the Region of Peja and 1492 from the Region of Dukagjini, while the number of directors was 111. The good cooperation between all parties involved in this research has made its realization satisfactory. This whole project resulted in a very voluminous report, with a lot of data and some recommendations that were then presented to all interested parties. In addition to this report, activities were organized within this research, aimed at capacity building of Didactic Centers.
