The first three-day module of the training program “Education for Social Justice” within the framework of the project “Youth Empowered through Inclusive Schools – YESS” has been successfully completed, with a total of 185 teachers from 30 beneficiary schools of the project.
This training program aims to advance teachers’ knowledge in understanding social justice and diversity, to empower and mobilize participants to advocate for children’s rights against any kind of discrimination and exclusion, and to improve the way they work with children. Through the working methods during this program, participants have the opportunity to self-reflect on their attitudes and behaviors, in relation to others.
The second three-day module of this program is expected to be developed after a few months with the same teachers from the beneficiary schools.
