February 20 – World Day of Social Justice reminds us of the importance of investing in a quality and inclusive education system, which enables the development of the potential and competences of all.
Through the Teacher Training Program “Education for Social Justice”, over the past two years, teachers from seven municipalities of Kosovo: Dragash, Kamenicë, Lipjan, Mitrovica, Gjilan, Prizren and Obiliq, have attended intensive trainings with the aim of developing inclusive practices and creating more attractive, supportive learning environments that offer equal opportunities for all students.
Through 6 training groups, with 178 certified teachers and a 21.6% increase in pre- and post-training assessment scores, the program has directly contributed to the development of teachers skills to:
implement inclusive methodologies;
promote diversity in the classroom;
create safe and supportive environments for all students.
