Yesterday afternoon, May 6, 2025, the Podujeva City Gallery was filled with colors, emotions and reflections, as the exhibition “Discrimination – A Reality That Must Be Broken” was opened. This special exhibition was realized by the students of the Gymnasium “Aleksandër Xhuvani” in Podujeva.
An initiative that started with three young people – Olti Maloku, Dea Osmani and Aulona Toverlani, turned into a platform where the voices of youth were heard through art. Under the mentorship of Professor Mirsime Zhitia, the students brought works that speak about exclusion, prejudice and the need for equality.
“Discrimination exists, but we can no longer remain silent. Through art, we say what is often not said.” – was the message of the young people.
