Today we marked the end of an extraordinary youth innovation and empowerment program. In less than three months, students not only learned to code, they created real digital solutions for their schools and communities.
This event brought together our partners, who highly appreciated the extraordinary potential of our youth:
Ms. Rita Glavitza, Head of the Austrian Development Agency in Kosovo, described this success as: “A powerful demonstration of what happens when we invest in young minds, adding that young people are already the change themselves”.
Ms. Veronika Vashchenko, Head of the UNICEF Office in Kosovo, commended the close cooperation with schools to institutionalize these solutions, emphasizing that: “Through this program, we wanted students to have practical skills to bring the best to society and community. Students are my greatest inspiration and I tell you: keep dreaming”.
Mr. Petrit Tahiri, Executive Director of KEC, noted that: “This program proved how technology, when used with good intentions, becomes a powerful tool for collaboration and positive social change.”
Mr. Granit Brajshori, Project Manager, concluded by emphasizing that: “Techstitution has not only been a program about technology, but it has been an opportunity to empower young people to think differently, to believe in their abilities and to see themselves as creators and contributors of change in their communities.”
Our results in numbers:
4 high schools involved (High School “Hajdar Dushi” Gjakova, High School “Ulpiana” -Lipjan, High School Remzi Ademaj – Prizren, High School of Natural Sciences “Xhavit Ahmeti” Gjilan-);
110+ students trained in Artificial Intelligence (AI), software design, development and testing;
