During the past week, introductory meetings were held and Memorandums of Understanding were signed with eight beneficiary schools within the framework of the regional project “Western Balkans Young Leaders Development Initiative” (BELI).
This partnership will enable:
▶️Capacity building and mentoring for Student Councils on democratic participation and the protection of human rights;
▶️Direct support for the planning and implementation of concrete initiatives and campaigns within the school environment;
▶️Participation in the Regional Network through joint activities and events with young people from the Western Balkan countries;
▶️Development of recommendations and policies aimed at strengthening the role and voice of young people at local and regional levels.
This collaboration aims to contribute to the creation of more democratic, inclusive and active school environments, where young people have the space to be part of decision-making and positive change in their communities.
