Today, in the presence of project beneficiaries, representatives of partner institutions and businesses, as well as other stakeholders, the closing ceremony of the project “Youth empowerment enabling prospects – YEEP 2” was held, where the main achievements, challenges and inspiring stories of the beneficiaries were presented.
The project was implemented in the municipality of Gjilan, where 75 young people developed their skills through ongoing training and mentoring programs, supporting them to increase their employment opportunities.
During the ceremony, the significant impact of the project on empowering young people, developing professional skills and creating new opportunities for their future was emphasized.
The closing of the project demonstrated a joint commitment to invest in the potential of young people and to open new paths towards their success.
The project “Youth Empowerment and Training of Youth through New Opportunities – YEEP2” aims to create perspectives for improving employment and active participation in the labor market for young people from vulnerable groups in Kosovo. This project is implemented in the municipality of Gjilan, where 75 young beneficiaries of the project have developed their skills and have been trained through ongoing training and mentoring programs, and are being supported to compete in the labor market. The YEEP 2 project is being developed in partnership with SOS Children’s Villages Kosovo and is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and SOS Children’s Villages Worldwide (CVW).
