Last week, from 16-18 October 2025, within the framework of the ValuED project (Advancing values-based education through reform of teacher development policies and practices in Kosovo), a three-day training was held for academic staff of the Faculties of Education from the University of Pristina and the “Ukshin Hoti” University in Prizren, on the topic of values-based education (VBE) and education for democratic citizenship (EDC).
The aim of the training was to strengthen the capacities of university educators to integrate values-based education and education for democratic citizenship approaches into teacher education programs, promoting inclusive, democratic and ethically based learning environments.
KEC is a partner in the implementation of the project, and has contributed to this important activity of professional development of university teachers, through the engagement of our long-time collaborator, expert in education for democratic citizenship, Professor Rolf Gollob
