TALKON–CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT FOR SENIOR EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP

The purpose of this project was to provide a full capacity building program focused on the implementation of the MEST Communication Strategy for the senior and middle staff of MEST and MEST management in three program areas:

Leadership, Management and Communication.

The target group were personnel of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MEST) and municipal directorate of education (DKA). The training program was carried out in the form of nine seminars so that the skills and knowledge acquired through one seminar, are applied in practice and reported in the next seminar.

Each module was organized as a 2-day long seminar, and is followed by workplace training, regarding the tasks given in the seminars. Each training module comprised 16 hours of training, while the entire program in total included 144 hours of training. On average, each participant receives 2 hours of training for each module, in total 18 hours of training.

The program is accredited by MEST.
