Over the weekend, at the KEC Training Center, we had a motivated group of teachers from several schools in Pristina, who attended the “Media Education” professional development program.
For two days, topics such as: creating worldviews, critical review of information, privacy, media and democratic citizenship, and teaching media education were addressed. In the last session, teachers divided into small groups generated ideas for integrating media education through teaching topics, as elective courses, and as learning projects through community engagement.
