In the premises of the Community Learning Center in the village of Gurakoc (Municipality of Istog), on July 25, a roundtable discussion organized by the NGO “Vision 02” was held. This roundtable was held within the framework of the second phase of the project “Increasing Inclusion in Preschool and Primary Education”.
The topic of the discussion was: “The Importance of Education, Registration and Non-Dropout of School by Children of the Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian Communities.” The roundtable was attended by various representatives, including: Officials from the Municipality of Istog, Members of the Parents’ Council, Parents of Children from the Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian Communities, Principals and Teachers from Primary Schools, Educators of the Learning Center, Police Officers.
It was emphasized that in order to achieve greater and qualitative inclusion in education, close cooperation between local institutions, schools, parents and civil society organizations is necessary.
