PROSPECT

The aim of the project was to build capacity of the staff of community/learning centers and develop a network of stakeholders to support the creation of a non-discriminatory and integrative school. The project is funded by KKS (Karl Kubel Stiftung) and BMZ (German Ministry for Development), implemented by KFOS and the professional development component of the centers is managed by KEC. During the year, regular monitoring was carried out at all centers. Overall, it was a very good commitment of the tutors. In some cases there is a change of tutors which also causes obstacles in the work’s work because the new tutors are not trained. During the monitoring, the main focus was to support the tutors for keeping the children’s files, in order to document development in children. Not all teaching centers have started to practice the procedure of keeping individual files. In October, in cooperation with KFOS, training for organization development took place.

The training was divided into two topics: “Communication and Leadership” which KEC carried out, while “Advocacy” was carried out by ATTA.
