Young people from the Municipality of Gjilan, part of the YEEP 2 project, successfully completed the three-day training “The Right to Public Representation – Advocacy”, which aimed to strengthen the capacities of young people for advocacy and representation in the public.
Through interactive sessions and presentations, young people gained practical skills and in-depth knowledge, which will help them implement advocacy projects and actively engage in their communities.
During the training, participants participated in practical activities where:
•created action plans and identified obstacles and opportunities to overcome them;
•determined the resources and budget needed to carry out their advocacy campaigns;
•worked in groups to develop their vision on specific issues and build concrete strategies for advocacy.
A special focus was on addressing the needs of marginalized groups, setting priorities for broader social inclusion.
