Kosovo Innovating Social Transformation (KIST)

Description

The main aim of the project is promoting comprehensive digital literacy for educational purposes and for lifelong professional and personal development of digital natives, in order to increase critical and active participation in civic life and boost resilience in the 21^st century.

Project results

• Students are able to tell real from fake news and misinformation from real information, after having acquired the capacity to make informed decisions based on verification and validity of sources.
• Lower secondary school students capacitated to create projects and tell human-interest visual stories focused on positive alternatives and inspirational counter-narratives to hate speech.
• Teachers respond more adequately to student needs, and adjust their teaching in keeping with 21^st century educational exigencies.
