Second Steering Committee Meeting of the project “Preparing future teachers in the Western Balkan: Educating for Democracy & Human Rights”

During the dates 06-07  February,  Second Steering Committee Meeting of the project “Preparing future teachers in the Western Balkan: Educating for Democracy & Human Rights” was organized. The meeting attended by members of the Steering Committee from Western Balkan countries, project trainers and representatives of The European Wergeland Centre (EWC).
The project “Preparing future teachers: Education for Democracy and Human Rights” is supported by the Government of Norway and implemented by EWC, launched in March 2019.
The main objective of the project is to improve the quality of teacher education for future teachers in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia and Montenegro, through regional partnerships of initial and in-service teacher training institutions, including national education authorities, where modules for citizenship and human rights will be developed and delivered to support implementation of democratic education reforms in the Western Balkans.
